NEOram is an open source enhanced replica of the Berkeley Softworks 512k GEOram cartridge. The original version was developed by Nicolas Welte in 2006 and brought forward to the world through the German "Forum64" community ( Forum64 Link ). This cartridge features the ability to exist with a maximum of 2mb of RAM, as well as the ability to be battery backed using a standard CR2032 cell which can be expected to preserve the contents of the memory for months.
We're making this cartridge available through our site for those who missed the opportunity to get one for themselves.
Because it's a released under a non-commercial agreement, the board (blank PCB) is available for sale at cost, and the parts and assembly service to fabricate it for you is available through the shop.
