NEOram is an open source enhanced replica of the Berkeley Softworks 512k GEOram cartridge. The original version was developed by Nicolas Welte in 2006 and brought forward to the world through the German "Forum64" community ( Forum64 Link ). This cartridge features the ability to exist with a maximum of 2mb of RAM, as well as the ability to be battery backed using a standard CR2032 cell which can be expected to preserve the contents of the memory for months.
Further enhancements were applied through to the current iteration of the board ( NEOram Remix Rel.3 ). As with the original NEOram open source release, it was released under a non-commercial agreement. As such, this board is being offered at cost.
These boards have been produced by a commercial board manufacturer and are ENIG (Gold Plated). Board color may vary from that shown in the photo. Board release version is Rel.3.
