This is a reproduction 1581 bare PCB.  This is a COREi64 exclusive reproduction that includes the option of installing an alternate power supply circuit.

What the alternate power supply circuit means, is that with a few extra components installed, you can power your 1581 drive with any DC wallwart of 1amp or better in any voltage between 8-35vdc.  This alternate circuit employs a switching power regulator and some ancillary components to convert voltages in that range down to the voltage required by the drive.  No need to worry about the DC input voltage or having to buy an overpriced 1581 original power supply.

This item is for a bare PCB only.  No components are included.  Boards provided are now BLACK in color.

The assembled board shown in the photos are for reference only.

Options for this board are as follows:

1) LED board (allows connection of LEDs for power and activity lights)
2) 1.44 Drive Adapter Board (allows use of most style 1.44 PC Floppy Drives to 1581 board without any drive modifications)
